Research Interests

A) Electrochemical biosensors
Development of electrochemical DNA sensors for simultaneous DNA hybridization and polymorphism detection.

B) Dynamic trace metal speciation and bioavailability
Development of in-situ probes and modelling methodologies to investigate the dynamic processes involved in metal complexation by
natural organic ligands and particles and the trace metal uptake by organisms.
